The common

The San Clemente, CA hair salon The Common is the vision of hairstylist Hannah and her husband Josh. They spoke of opening a studio that allowed stylists to rent a space and maintain their independence while also benefiting from the community atmosphere of the collective.

 This sparked visualizations of shared success--a party wave, where we forgo singular ownership for the joy and  abundance of riding alongside one another; the desert palm oasis where many trees thrive and grow together, creating a habitat for life in an otherwise arid landscape.

The final designs used these motifs, paired with the town’s spanish-style architecture, creating our Mosaic logoart suite.
